Tadeusz Andrew Lapinski was born in 1928 Poland, he received Master degree from Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw MFA in 1955. His major art activity was directed toward color lithography, even if he graduate with painting. He was considered the inventor in this field, by discovering rainbow printing split color and achieved recognition through Pratt Graphic Center New York in 1963-64 thanks to an award by Cincinnati Art museum and one-man exhibition in Museum of Modern Art in New York, and late in Whitney Museum, NYC.

Simultaneously in Toronto, Canada, he received acclaim by the exhibition with Joan Miro. The most recently Lapinski was awarded 2000 most outstanding people of 20th century by International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England. Among other distinctions he was recipient of ??? year medal of the city Omisalj, Croatia, 1997. In 1996, his works represented faculty at Hall of States exhibition on special invitation by Governor Perris Glendening. Lapinski was invited to include his biography to Strathmore Whoís Who and Whoís Who in the World.

In 1997 was opened one-man exhibition in the Pulaski Museum City Warka, Poland for 200 years of General Pulaski birthday anniversary. The American Institute of Polish Culture awarded him a medal of achievement on its 25-year anniversary. Lapinski participated in the faculty exhibition in Poland, and together with Pat Craig was representing US at the grand opening in Konin.

He was a juror of awards by Korean Art Association, Washington, D.C. Soon will be open Lapinski individual exhibition sponsored by Prince Georgeís Arts Council in the District Court Greenbelt Grand Hall. Lapinski was appointed to teach lithography here in 1972 and presently will be celebrating 27 years at Art Department and soon 70 years of age.
