I was to travel to Poland, from Dulles Airport, on 9/11/2001 in time to build a sculpture for the exhibiton, Mixing Realities at the Muzeum Okrlgowe w Bydgoszczy, Poland. 

I was unable to leave the US until 9/18 arriving 2 days before the opening.

 The events of 9/11 and the imediacy of the working conditions had a profound impact on content of the work.
